WSP USA Change Management - Senior / Principal Consultant in Birmingham, United Kingdom

You will be joining Transformation Advisory, a growth capability with big ambitions.

A typical project could include building the implementation roadmap to bring a Client’s sustainability strategy to life through the organisation, it’s people and its partner’s; implementing business changes to support a new digital solution or; designing a new operating model to accelerate growth or improve. No two projects are the same, but they all demand exceptional client experience and a focus on delivering sustainable results.

This specialist team is spread geographically however, it is focused around three team hubs, London (Chancery Lane), Manchester and Birmingham offices.

Uniquely, the role offers the opportunity to directly inform the growth strategy for Transformation at WSP. Your expertise and insights will contribute to building a leading management consultant and change management capability.

  • Delivering transformational work with purpose, supporting WSP’s ambition of acting as a bold change agent in society.

  • Guiding organisations through business changes supporting from strategy development through to practical implementation. Work can include, but is not limited to, strategy and visioning, operating model and organisation design, business process development, change management, communication and engagement.

  • Managing a portfolio of change projects comprising of muti disciplinary teams focusing on delivering high quality outputs and a positive client experience.

  • You will play a hands-on role in business development and team growth, owning priority accounts and manging key pursuits.

  • Actively build relationships with key clients and develop wider networks within and external to WSP.

  • We are early on in our growth journey, we are looking for people who are interested in playing a key role in leading, coaching and supporting team members and maturing our change management practice.

  • Proven experience of delivering within large scale change programmes

  • Experience of independently managing small/medium size advisory commissions, particularly within organisational design and change management.

  • Experience of delivering change within one or more of the following sectors: Infrastructure, utilities, defence, energy or transportation.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build strong client relationships.

  • Supported business development activities or an interest in developing these skills.

  • Strong interest in understanding the wider business and industry context in which our clients operate.

  • A relevant Management Consulting or Change Management professional qualification and a broad awareness and practical application of problem solving and change management methodologies.
