Position Overview
The Boeing Company is seeking an Associate Lead Electronics Digital Design Architect . Boeing India Engineering oversees the design, development, manufacture, integration and testing of LRU designs for various Avionics systems. This position is located in Bengaluru, Karnataka .

Responsibilities include:
Lead activities to create hardware architecture for complex component/system level products
This position has responsibilities in the areas of the following: Embedded Firmware Design, Circuit Design, Schematic Capture, Board Layout & Circuit Simulation
Lead work with customers to develop and document electronic and electrical system requirements on complex multi-tiered projects
Lead analysis and translation of complex requirements into system architecture, hardware design and interface specifications
Lead testing and validation work on complex system designs to assure that operational and functional requirements are met
Work with others to develop program test strategies
Manage performance of critical suppliers to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements
Conduct program independent reviews and reports results to program leadership
Lead PDR, CDR and SRR for component/system level hardware
The Architect is responsible for successful execution of engineering activities for the Programs in support of the Product Family Directors
Provide technical direction, oversight, and review to Product Development IPTs and Systems Engineering teams responsible for the development of products.
Lead prioritization of Technical Issue Resolution
Support resolution of PRs/FRs etc as needed
Access technical expertise across enterprise to resolve issues/support issue resolution through robust RCCA
Review/Approve Division Proprietary Information Releases
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):
Bachelor's in engineering degree or higher
12 or more years' in Electrical Engineering experience
Experience with digital board design
Experience in creating hardware architecture for systems and products
Experience leading engineering projects
Experience with electronic hardware design and analysis (PowerPC processors, Printed Circuit boards, FPGA Design and Verification, VME Bus, PCI Bus, CPCI, XMC, VPX, DDR, JTAG, Memories, Xilinx, Actel, Processors, Multiprocessor SoC, UVM Based test Benches, Safety Flow Analysis, Emulation for SoCs, RTL Design for Avionics protocols, Processor bringup, mixed signal (adc and dac), amplifier, filter, power supply, analog circuit designs, sensor and controllers for fuel pump)
Experience with electromechanical packaging (thermal analysis, vibration analysis, component fatigue, shock analysis, high voltage electronic packaging)
Experience with Manufacturing of Electronic Assemblies (manufacturing readiness assessments, Rapid Prototyping, dfmat, electronics manufacturing)
Ability to create hardware software partitioning and validate requirements to integrate functional requirements/testing

Preferred Qualifications ( Desired Skills / Experience ):
Possesses hardware qualification and certification experience
Experience managing component/system level-electronics design and development
Experience in developing and deploying affordability capabilities and methods for both recurring and nonrecurring cost reduction
Experience in integrating component/system level requirements into a complex platform or system
Knowledgeable in both MIL and FAA type certifications
Experience and development and certification to DO-160, DO-254, MIL-STD 810
Experience in PCB hardware design using micro controller units & FPGA devices
Experience in PCB design & PCB assembly verification, debug, troubleshooting and repair
Experience in FPGA & CPLD design implementation for custom designed boards
Ability to deliver complex electronics hardware and silicon component roadmaps for electric power & distribution application
Experience in interfacing electric power & distribution communication protocols and working with software and systems to allocate architecture and functional needs
Typical Education & Experience:
Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 12 or more years' experience, Master's degree with 10 or more years' experience or PhD degree with experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard
