Boeing IT & Data Analytics team has an immediate opening for an IT Asset Management Analyst to support the Asset Operations Center of Excellence in Bangalore, India. This position will execute and automate asset management operational roles within an Agile framework. The team will be responsible for the day-to-day performance of operational activities, optimization and improvement of associated processes, and support of strategic objectives for the Technology Asset Management (TAM) Function and discipline. Success candidates will demonstrate strong analytical, technical, and communication skills, as well as a collaborative and Agile mindset.

This role will be based out of Bangalore, India.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Successfully execute the management, control, and compliance of software licenses and entitlements throughout all lifecycle stages, including harvesting, access management, and package deployment.

  • Optimize and operationalize software asset management capabilities, including but not limited to automated asset discovery and data normalization.

  • Develop and support automated capabilities in the form of dashboards, reporting, etc.

  • Ensure cost efficient procurement and management of enterprise software in alignment with existing policies and standards.

  • Enforce policy, process, or standards violations as they relate to the software asset lifecycle, in alignment with enterprise governance requirements.

  • Participate in and enable routine audits and inventory reviews.

  • Maintain a strong understanding of the asset lifecycle and all associated governance requirements.

  • Administer and support enterprise tools, ensuring data integrity is maintained via up-to-date asset inventory records, including software licenses.

  • Facilitate system integration activities with enterprise tools in collaboration with cross-functional business partners.

  • Work together with business stakeholders to ensure the successful integration of asset management processes. As well, continuously seek opportunities to optimize and improve asset lifecycle management activities in support of downstream processes.

In addition to the responsibilities listed above, future responsibilities may require support of processes including Security Management, IT Service Management, or Vendor Management.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher is required as a BASIC QUALIFICATION

  • 3+ years of relevant work experience, including software asset management (licenses and entitlements), process automation, asset management lifecycle principles, and policy enforcement

  • 2+ years of experience administering IT Asset Management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Flexera)

  • 1+ years of experience with Scaled Agile Framework or Agile Methodologies

  • Familiarity with aerospace industry, military and government specifications, handbooks and standards.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience ) :

  • Experience supporting regulatory, internal, and vendor audits

  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps)

  • Relevant certifications such as CSAM, ServiceNow, etc.

Typical Education & Experience:

  • Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9-12 years' related work experience or Master’s Degree with 8 + years of experience with an equivalent combination of education and experience.

This position does offer relocation within INDIA.
