We are looking for an energetic person to oversee a group home for people with developmental disabilities. The joy in this job is being with the people you support. Many in this home are on a bowling league. They are huge Yankees and NY Giants fans here. One gentleman loves all things Star Trek. Going to the park or sitting down for a cup of coffee may be the highlight of their and your day.This home is nestled in Greenfield Center and operated under OPWDD regulations. You should have a working knowledge of these regulations. Making sure that everyone who lives in this home is safe, their goals are being documented, and that there is staffing coverage are some of the highlights of this position. Skills that are useful are strong organizational skills, great people skills, problem solving skills and flexibility in schedule.
