My client in Atlanta seeks a Staff Accountant to join their team!

• Full-time position

• Salary $70,000 plus bonuses (DOE)

• Hybrid work schedule

• Excellent work/life balance – Staff Accountants typically work fewer than 45 hours per week during close periods

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely financial data preparation across various areas. Strong analytical and organizational skills are essential to effectively support the accounting team.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with department heads to verify and maintain accuracy in financial reporting activities

• Assist in the preparation and distribution of financial statements

• Generate financial statements and supporting schedules as per the monthly close schedule

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Economics, or Finance

• 0 to 2 years of experience in accounting

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must
