Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions (BEWS) is the group responsible for leading Ericsson's Enterprise Networking and Security business. Our growing product portfolio spans across wide area networks, local area networks and enterprise security. We are the #1 global market leader in Wireless-WAN based enterprise connectivity solutions and are growing fast in enterprise Private 5G networks and Secure Access Services Edge (SASE) solutions.

*How Will You Contribute to the Company?*

As Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions has entered a high growth phase increasingly dependent on Carrier partnerships, this position is critical to strategically align all of the carrier resources, both dedicated and virtual, to achieve the highest outcomes. The 5G and FWA adoption curves have gained velocity, and this role will be the Business Development leader paving the way with customers, partners, and the industry.Internally, this role will represent the carrier's perspective and needs across all disciplines - product, process, operations, marketing, etc. This position executes day-to-day tasks to drive short-term success of the assigned carrier, while building programs strategically to generate longer term returns.

*What Will You Do?*

  • Manage a small team of Carrier Development Managers, leading by example as a player/coach to support specific geographic areas in order to cover the entire US footprint as a team
  • Develop and lead programs and tactics for assigned carrier business partner across all carrier business units, providing overall account leadership with detailed strategic and tactical business plans to drive sales and revenue growth
  • Establish, develop and maintain key customer relationships with carrier Sales and Marketing and relevant HQ teams, to further Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions' short- and long-term business objectives at all management levels
  • Work with the carrier as well as Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions sales and marketing to facilitate relationships and joint activities such as training, funnel reviews, joint sales calls, event participation, and the like, in order to ensure that Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions is top of mind and most recommended by our carrier partners
  • Impact the profitability of the company by identifying new strategic and tactical opportunities with carrier business partners
  • Provide carrier account expertise to Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions executive, sales, marketing, and engineering teams on customer's business challenges, culture, and environment, specifically market trends, future technology, competition, and partners that may affect the carrier's business

*Qualifications* Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ten (10) years of working with or for T-Mobile in business development or sales role
  • Proven successful sales and sales leadership, with a strong understanding of selling 4G/5G and networking solutions to B2B and Government customers
  • Deep, wide relationships within the target Carrier (T-Mobile)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have a technical aptitude
  • Excellent leadership and account management skills
  • Extremely proficient with PowerPoint and other MS Office tools
  • Travel as needed- estimated at 30-60%
  • Location negotiable, Atlanta or NYC preferred

Bonus Points:

  • MBA or equivalent
  • Moderate understanding of IP Networking
