Robert Half Talent Solutions is on the hunt for a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager in the Health Pharm/Biotech industry, located in ALLENTOWN, Pennsylvania. This role centers on continuous improvement of financial planning and analysis processes, and the development of insightful financial solutions to support the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the enhancement of financial planning and analysis processes and foster staff development

• Collaborate with organizational leaders to identify business opportunities and challenges and propose innovative solutions

• Support the monthly close process, including analyzing departmental operating results and variances versus budget, forecast, and prior year

• Prepare and review journal entries based on analysis performed and create materials for business reviews

• Conduct business decision analysis for potential acquisitions, business opportunities, and new investments

• Develop and improve financial reporting tools and financial models

• Manage departmental cost accounting for the entire organization

• Lead and participate in cross-functional teams and special projects that support strategic initiatives

• Implement, monitor, and evaluate financial planning and analysis policies and procedures, making recommendations as necessary

• Oversee the compilation, review, and development of all aspects of the annual budget and long-term strategic plans, including operational and capital planning, financial reporting, and development of presentation materials

• Develop staff; hire, train, and appraise as required.

Requirements • Must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in the Health Pharm/Biotech industry

• Proficient in using 3M, Adaptive Insights, and CapEx

• Experience in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions is desirable

• Knowledge of Accounting Functions and Budget Processes is required

• Experience in Capital Management is expected

• Ability to interact with the C-Suite and manage financial aspects

• Prior experience in finance is necessary

• Must have the ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required

• Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, is required

• Must possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is required; an MBA or related advanced degree is preferred

• Professional certification such as CPA or CFA is a plus.
